Emily Stinner, Director of Client Success at ONCO
Tell us about your professional journey prior to joining ONCO. Specifically, what are your experiences that led you into your current Client Success role?
Over the past 10 years, I’ve built my career in staffing, primarily focused on recruiting and managing cancer registry professionals. Throughout this journey, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with the oncology community—a group defined by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to patient care. Supporting such dedicated and inspiring individuals has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.
Tell us about your role at ONCO and your first few months on the job. What do you find rewarding? What have you found challenging?
My first few months at ONCO have been truly refreshing. I’ve been diving deep into our technology, learning about our AI partner, Inspirata, and gaining a broader understanding of the company. What I’ve found most rewarding is catching glimpses of what the future holds for oncology data technology—it’s exciting to be part of something so forward-thinking. The biggest challenge so far? Definitely keeping up with the endless stream of acronyms!
How do you define ‘client success’ at ONCO?
To me, client success means transforming satisfied customers into true brand advocates. It’s not just about meeting expectations—it’s about consistently delivering exceptional support and evolving our solutions to stay ahead of the changing needs in oncology data. When clients feel supported, empowered, and excited about what we’re building together, that’s success.
Can you share a story where you have made a significant impact on a client’s experience?
The success stories that mean the most to me are the ones where I’ve helped someone land their next opportunity—a new career path, a significant raise, or even their big break. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of knowing you’ve made a meaningful difference in someone’s life. That kind of gratitude stays with you.
What upcoming projects do you have in your new role that could significantly impact client success and ONCO as a whole?
I’m focused on building a sense of community within our client base by creating spaces where meaningful conversations can happen and best practices can be shared. I believe this kind of connection not only strengthens our brand—it enhances the value of our offerings. When passionate, smart people come together, great things always follow.
Tell us about yourself outside of work. What are your interests?
Outside of work, I’m passionate about cooking, expanding my ever-growing plant collection, and practicing yoga. I love spending time with my dog, Jolene, soaking up the sun on the beautiful beaches around St. Pete, and traveling to places I haven’t seen before.
